DIY: Rainbow High Waisted Shorts

You'll need:
Old jeans that you'll never wear
Chalk
Scissors
Bleach
Spray Bottle
Tye Dye Colors
Gloves

Start!
 1. Take an old pair of high waisted jeans and put them on. Take you chalk and mark off wear you wanna cut them off. Take them off and cut them.

2. Now, you're gonna fill a empty spray bottle with bleach. Lay your shorts flat on a towel and spray away! make sure the bleach has covered the shorts.

3. Make sure your shorts are dried at least 80% before you start to dye them. Put your gloves on and get ready to rumble. Now, lay them on a flat surface and make sure you have something to protect the surface because this can get messy. Start off in the middle (where the zipper is) and make your way out. turn your shorts around and do the same thing. The colors from the front probably bleed through so you don't have to worry about it.

4. I highly recommend you wait for a day and let the shorts sit before throwing them into the washer. They have to be almost 100% dry. The dryer makes your shorts a little fluffy so don't be afraid.

Optional:
Before you Tye Dye your shorts, you can add slits
How to do it?
Take your scissors and cut line near the bottom of the pants. Make sure you don't cut the pockets!

And there you go, I hope you enjoyed my first DIY post! There's more to come.
